Roof fan repair in Yonkers
Roof exhaust fan and makeup air unit repair, replacement and maintenance for apartment buildings in Yonkers.
Yonkers is right next door to the Bronx and has many of the same kinds of apartment buildings — with the same roof fans that need motors, belts and bearings to keep running.
We cover Yonkers with the same crew and the same process as the city: find the problem, give you a written price, fix it, and photograph every fan on the roof.
What we fix
We find out why the fan stopped, fix that, and tell you what else on the roof is close to failing.
- Fan not running
- Burned-out motors, failed capacitors, tripped or broken disconnects.
- Noisy or shaking
- Worn bearings, loose or bent blower wheels, bad shafts.
- Weak airflow
- Broken or slipping belts, worn pulleys, clogged makeup air filters.
- Past saving
- A complete new upblast or downblast fan, sized to the curb and the duct.
Keep them from breaking
Most fan failures start with a worn belt or a dry bearing. Our maintenance program checks every fan and makeup air unit twice a year, with belts and filters included.
Questions we get
Where in Yonkers do you work?
All of Yonkers — including Getty Square, Ludlow, Park Hill, Nodine Hill, Runyon Heights, Crestwood and the rest of the area. We also cover the other boroughs and Yonkers.
What does a roof fan repair cost?
It depends on what failed — a belt costs far less than a motor or a new fan. We look at the fan first and send a written price before any work starts.
Do you take emergency calls?
Yes. If a fan goes down and tenants are complaining, call or text 929-207-7634 and we'll get there as fast as we can.
Can my Yonkers building go on the maintenance program?
Yes. A technician checks every roof fan and makeup air unit twice a year, belts and makeup air filters included, with a report after each visit.
